Assignment for tomorrow:
Don't forget we're meeting tomorrow morning at 9 am. We'll be discussing chapter 6 "The Trinity". Now that the madness of the season is over, this blog will be updated much more often. Make sure to check back after we meet tomorrow.

ok josh i have a question that i needs answered.... you know that today i asked a question why cant the Father do some of the things that the Son can and vise versa... why does it matter if the Father does somthing that the Son should do...because They are all just one person anyway..if you dont get what i'm talking about talk to me tomorrow..thanks
Doug- This is why we can't really understand this doctrine fully. The answer to your question is a matter of roles. Even though they are all the same person, they still operate within their roles as the Father, Son, and HS. When the Son does something, like die on the cross, he does it as the Son and as God, but not as God the Father. The same with salvation. When God predestines someone for salvation, he acts as the Father and as God, but not as the Holy Spirit or the Son. Does that help answer your question??? If not, I'll talk with you later.
